Outreach & Community Service
Join us as we participate in the Mission of Mercy events. Volunteers are needed to assist in every aspect of the event. "General Volunteers" help with tasks such as monitoring the patient line, patient check-in/out, volunteer check-in/out, patient escorts, hospitality, IT support, translators, etc. "Clinical Dental/Medical" volunteers (licensed professionals or students working towards a degree in dentistry or medicine) provide direct patient care: medical pre-screen, dental triage, x-rays, dental services and post-op.
Howard County Dental Association has partnered with Howard County Public School nurses to provide emergent dental care to students in need.

Howard County Dental Association regularly participates in annual community health-education events such as the HCPSS Expo, Howard County Health and Wellness Expo, and CHOICE.
